Jeffrey Vaughan

Background
Jeffrey Vaughan was elected to the City Council Position 1 in December 2003, then re-elected to the Council for second and third terms in 2006 and 2010. Vaughan served as Council President from 2012 through 2015. Vaughan holds a bachelor's degree in Public Health and worked for a number of years as an occupational safety and health professional in private industry. In 2001, he and his wife Deanna started a company which has grown into a thriving safety and lighting e-commerce operation located in Smokey Point. Vaughan has been active in the Marysville community as a Boy Scout leader, church volunteer and soccer coach.

During his tenure, Vaughan has taken the lead in combatting graffiti through the establishment of the Graffiti Task Force and its focus on community outreach and removing the urban blight that graffiti creates.
