Learn about the future of State Ave. at Feb. 25 community meeting

If you live, work or commute along State Avenue, you’re invited to hear plans for its future and share your feedback at a community meeting.

Whether you’re interested learning about land use, the results from the State Avenue survey or transportation improvements planned for the future, join City of Marysville community development staff from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25., in the City Council chambers on the second floor of City Hall.

The meeting will include discussions about long-range guidelines being developed for the State Avenue corridor – including future transit and transportation improvements, quality of life considerations, open space development and more.

Ultimately, the goal of the meeting is to provide Community Development staff with a better understanding of stakeholder needs and priorities related to the future of State Avenue.

For more information about the State Avenue community meeting, please contact Community Development staff at 360-363-8100. To take the online State Avenue survey, please visit The City will accept surveys through Friday, March 11.
