Contact - How You Can Become Involved

The Marysville Healthy Communities Project is seeking volunteers to become involved in the Nutrition and Physical Activity Action Plan Implementation Committee. We are looking for volunteers who have expertise to share in carrying out the action plans the Project has established to increase the number of active community environments, promote and increase more access to healthy foods, and increase the number of people who have access to low-cost or free recreational opportunities. Some areas of interest that help in carrying out these objectives include: biking/walking/trails/community centers, food bank, increasing enrollment in free/reduced school breakfast and lunch, community gardens, congregate meal sites, menu labeling, Adopt-A-Park program, activity courses and covered playgrounds, and intramural sports programs.

For more information, please contact one of the following Healthy Communities individuals, and provide a contact name, address, e-mail and phone number. You can also volunteer online.
