    Some Like It Hot, considered to be one of the greatest film comedies of all time, is full of hilarious set pieces and movie in-jokes. Nominated for several Oscars, it stars Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon who disguise themselves as women and play with an all-girl band in gangster-dominated 1929 Chicago. While on tour they make the acquaintance of Marilyn Monroe and both immediately fall in love. What follows next is priceless! Classic Movies return to the Historic Marysville Opera House on the fourth Monday of each month. From musicals to comedies, thrillers to love stories, the Opera House is the perfect venue to watch the timeless classics. Popcorn and refreshments will be available for purchase.

    The Pacific Crest Trail: A Long Walk Home? Tonight's featured speaker is Ryan Morrison. Ryan is a long time outdoorsman who had spent many years dreaming of completing a through hike of the Pacific Crest Trail, America's wild and scenic pathway from Mexico to Canada. After extensive planning, gear testing and training he finally had the opportunity to live that dream. Relive Ryan's solo trek, learn about the planning and preparation that went into this adventure of a lifetime and hear what trail life was like on his 2,650 mile walk home. On the fourth Tuesday of each month the Marysville Opera House will host an outdoor adventure speaker. Local authors and outdoor enthusiasts will share their adventures and expertise on topics including hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, climbing, trekking, photography, birding and more. Each presentation will finish up with a Q & A period and/or book signing and sales. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
