The Marysville Parks and Recreation Department’s focus is to enhance quality of life by providing beautiful parks, open spaces and exceptional recreational and athletic programs. The department has a long history of providing the public with exceptional parks and services for children, families and individuals by providing a safe and fun environment for everyone to experience. A wide variety of recreation and athletics classes, camps, leagues, trips and tours are available year-round to cater to the active and creative spirit in everyone. The
Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
consists of appointed community members who make recommendations to City Council on park-related matters.

City dedicates new park, former Christmas tree farm, on snowy day
City officials and community members on Saturday dedicated Marysville’s newest park facility, Doleshel Park, while fittingly enough, snow fell on the property that was once a popular family-owned Christmas tree farm.
