Recycling and Yard Waste

The City of Marysville has contracted recycling and yard waste collection with Waste Management Northwest.  Recycling is mandatory for residential customers in the City of Marysville while yard waste service is optional.  Recycling service is included in your garbage rates.  If you need to order a recycle or yard debris cart or increase the size of your recycle cart, you may do so by contacting the Utility Billing Department at (360) 363-8001.

Disposing of downed tree branches and yard waste following windstorm

Many residents have asked what to do with downed tree limbs and other yard debris following last weekend’s severe windstorm. If you have optional yard waste service provided by Waste Management, you can cut up branches and put them in your green bin. https://www.wmnorthwest.com

Otherwise, we suggest you work with friends and neighbors on disposal. Snohomish County solid waste facilities are not accepting yard or wood debris until further notice due to railway transportation issues.
