- Winter Safety Tips
Exposure to the cold can cause serious health issues. Prepare ahead of time to reduce your risk of life-threatening health conditions by keeping warm.
- Wear a hat, earmuffs, or scarf to reduce body heat escaping from your head.
- Layer up to stay well-insulated.
- Keep fingertips, earlobes, and noses covered when going outside.
- Keep your clothing dry. If one layer becomes wet, simply remove that layer.
