Background
Tom King has been an involved member of the Marysville community throughout his life. He is a volunteer driver for the Marysville Food Bank, is active with the Strawberry Festival, and has been a member of the Marysville Kiwanis Club for over 25 years as well as serving on several boards and committees. He previously served on the Marysville School Board and as a volunteer Marysville firefighter.

Before retiring in 2015, King worked as a traffic signal technician for the City of Marysville and, prior to that, as a construction electrician. King has three grown children.

Priorities

• Complete Ebey Waterfront Park and commercial development of waterfront
• Support our police and firefighters and formation of a Regional Fire Authority
• Complete planned transportation projects and further projects to address our growing city
• Support development of planned Manufacturing and Industrial Complex between Marysville and Arlington
