Reception Dec. 18 honors Councilmembers Wright, Seibert

You’re invited to join the City of Marysville in honoring outgoing City Councilmembers Donna Wright and Jeff Seibert for their collective 42 years of local public service.

A public reception is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at the Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St. Refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to Leah Tocco by Dec. 11 at ltocco@marysvillewa.gov or 360-363-8091.

Wright served as a City Councilmember from 1990 through 1999 and again from 2002 through 2017 for a collective 26 years of service. Seibert also served from 2002 through 2017, marking 16 years of service. Both are involved in the community and have demonstrated leadership through their service on multiple boards and committees. Wright also held leadership positions at the regional, state and national levels.

During their tenures, the City of Marysville has made hundreds of improvements to better serve residents and visitors including major street improvements, utility upgrades, new parks and cultural programs, improved financial transparency and years of clean financial audits.
