Can you attract tourists to Marysville? Groups proposing projects that will enhance and promote tourism in Marysville in 2019 are invited to apply for the city's Hotel/Motel Tax Grant Program. Deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28. 

The program is open to qualified, private non-profit groups with demonstrated ability to accomplish the projects they propose. Examples include organizations such as historical societies, art groups, chambers or commerce, museums and galleries, youth activity organizations and service clubs. Eligible applicants must be able to demonstrate nonprofit status. Proposed projects must comply with state statutes that govern the use of Hotel/Motel tax funds.
