Residential garbage service changes

Starting Monday, April 6, Marysville garbage collection will only pick up trash that is contained within your city-issued trash toter. Workers cannot collect extra bags left outside the toter or on the curb, even with a pre-purchased extra collection sticker. This is a temporary service change.

Extra collection stickers are no longer for sale at retail stores.

If you expect to have more garbage than usual over the next several weeks, please call Utility Billing at 360-363-8001 to request a larger collection bin.

If you have extra trash only occasionally, please call Utility Billing after your regular garbage pickup to request an additional pickup. Your account will be charged $6.66 (the same rate as collection stickers) and you can refill your tote for a second pickup a day or two later. That phone number is 360-363-8001.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
