Cloth mask donation site opening at City Hall

Cloth mask donations

If you are making cloth masks to help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the City of Marysville is opening a cloth mask donation site starting Monday, April 13, at City Hall, 1049 State Ave. Drop mask donations off between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Please wash, dry and place clean masks individually in plastic baggies. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has instructions for sewing a cloth face covering at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html. The Snohomish Health District also has more information about cloth face covers at http://www.snohd.org/Blog.aspx?IID=26&fbclid=IwAR3NH1pEE2SrnndZcVP8TM5l1aiW0dQDFLSYqCYfdg2zjQXd1UgIjSf4Qjw#item

The City of Marysville joins communities throughout Snohomish County with cloth mask donation sites to help collect masks and distribute them locally.
