Upper parking lot at Jennings Memorial Park to be paved

The Jennings Memorial Park Upper Parking Lot, located at 55th Avenue NE and 70th Street NE, will be closed Sept. 28, 2020 through Oct. 31, 2020 for paving. The parking lot, adjacent to the Jennings Park Ball Fields, is currently a gravel lot and will be paved for the first time.

Jennings Memorial Park will be open during the construction. Visitors to the park will need to use the other two parking lots, the main parking lot, located at 6915 Armar Road, and the Nature Park parking lot, located at 5300 64th St NE (SR 528) to access the park.

The improvements were budgeted in the 2020 budget. Users of the lot will have an improved parking experience when the lot is reopened.
