8th Street to be closed for paving March 9-10

8th closed for paving March 8-9 between State & Cedar

Traffic signal work at State & 8th follows March 14-17

UPDATE (March 7, 2020): Due to weather forecast, this work has been rescheduled to March 9-10. Thank you.

Heads up for drivers in downtown Marysville: The City of Marysville plans to close 8th Street for paving between State and Cedar avenues on Tuesday, March 8, during work hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The same road section will be closed the following day, Wednesday, March 9, for lane striping. This work is weather dependent.

From March 14 through 17, expect delays at the intersection of State Avenue and 8th Street. Lane closures are needed to conduct traffic signal modification work. Traffic will be allowed through the area.

This work follows asphalt repair, grinding and overlay on 8th Street that was completed in February as part of the city’s road maintenance program. Thank you for your patience.
