Public invited to comment on proposed Marysville city budget

The Marysville City Council will hold public hearings on the city’s proposed biennial budget for 2023 and 2024 on Mondays, Nov. 14 and Nov. 28, both at 7 p.m. at the Marysville Civic Center, 501 Delta Ave. Marysville residents are encouraged to attend and share their priorities for city projects and services.

Mayor Jon Nehring’s proposed $396 million two-year budget invests strongly in public safety and city infrastructure. Capital improvement projects in roads, water and sewer services, and city parks will deliver long-term benefits for residents and taxpayers in our growing city, Mayor Nehring said.

The City Council holds hybrid meetings so you can attend in person or online. For more information, visit https://www.marysvillewa.gov/264/City-Council. The City Council will adopt the final budget before the end of the year.
