Looking to share your skills and inspire others? The Marysville Community Center is calling for local instructors and volunteers to offer new classes for community members!
Classes will be held in the new Marysville Community Center located at 1015 State Ave.
From yoga to soccer, music to line dancing, the center is seeking instructors who can teach innovative classes for people of all ages, including youth, adults, and seniors. The classes aim to foster a sense of community, teach new skills and help community members get involved.
“We are looking to add classes on a variety of topics, including mind and body, multi-cultural programs, art, music, dance, adaptive recreation, sports and fitness, and outdoor adventure,” said Kristen Rasmussen, Recreation Supervisor. “We are constantly looking for new opportunities for our community. We know there are many creative minds out there, and we look forward to receiving your ideas.”
If you're interested in offering classes or volunteering to lead activities, please reach out to the Parks, Culture, and Recreation Office at 360-363-8400 or send an email to parksandrec@marysvillewa.gov. Let's work together to expand the educational and social opportunities for the Marysville community!
