Marysville rollover collision sends one to hospital

MARYSVILLE, Wash. —  A two-car rollover collision occurred in the 7500 block of Ingraham Blvd. on Friday afternoon, March 17th, just before 1:00 p.m., according to Marysville officers.

A 68-year-old Leavenworth man traveling westbound in a Ford Expedition drifted into the eastbound lanes where he collided with a GMC SUV. The man was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The occupants of the GMC, a 37-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, both from Marysville, and their infant were checked by aid personnel. The woman had minor injuries but did not require transportation to a medical facility.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation, but impaired driving is not suspected.

Ingraham Blvd. has been closed between 74th Dr. and 83rd Ave. since the collision while the Marysville Police Collision Investigation Unit processes the scene. It is still closed as of the time of this release.
