Description
The City of Marysville has prepared a draft Housing Action Plan (HAP) to meet the City’s goals of:
- Expanding housing options;
- Creating workforce housing for local employees; and
- Stabilizing households for existing residents to remain in their homes.
The HAP will play an important role in updating the Housing Element of the City’s Comprehensive Plan and will provide context for the Land Use Element. The HAP’s data and action items will provide the direction and strategies that are needed to ensure the City’s housing needs are met in a sustainable and equitable manner.
Additional Public Comment Opportunity
We also invite you to take our survey on the HAP and review the initial draft of the HAP, by visiting our website (https://www.marysvillewa.gov/1274/Housing-Action-Plan). The survey is also available at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MarysvilleHAP. The survey will help us refine priorities and recommendations for the HAP, and help us understand any gaps in the proposal.
