Explore trucks and interact with vehicles at the annual Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Totem Middle School’s Asbery Field, 1605 7th St. The City of Marysville invites families to attend this free event. Horns and sirens will sound from 10 a.m. to noon, with a quiet hour from noon to 1 p.m.
This community-favorite event invites kids to sit in the driver’s seat of Marysville’s largest heavy-duty rigs. Children of all ages have a hands-on chance to honk horns, set off sirens and kick the tires on a variety of big rigs including a dump truck, vactor truck, police vehicles, street sweeper, fire engines, garbage trucks, a heavy expanded mobility tactical truck and many more.
New this year: a staff skills competition! The Marysville Public Works team will put their hard-earned skills to the test by moving challenging objects with a small track hoe. Come cheer them on!
Admission is free with donations gratefully accepted to the Marysville Community Food Bank. Marysville Sunrise Rotary will sell food concessions. Please leave pets at home.
