[ARCHIVED] Ladder theft suspect in custody

On February 20, 2017 at approximately 12:20 am, a Caucasian male suspect was caught on video stealing a ladder from a residence located in the 6700 block of 49th Place within the city limits of Marysville.

Due to the excellent video quality recording the thief during the actual theft and all the citizens and police working together on social media, the suspect was captured today in a residence a short distance from the theft location by detectives assigned to the multi-jurisdictional Property Crimes Unit. The ladder was also discarded, recovered, and returned to the owner earlier in the investigation.

The suspect is a Caucasian male 27-year-old Marysville resident. He was booked into the Marysville city jail on the theft charges.
