[ARCHIVED] Arrests made in early-morning high school burglary

Marysville Police have arrested three suspects following an early morning break-in at Marysville Pilchuck High School yesterday.

Officers responded to an alarm at the school just after 2:00 a.m. Monday morning. The alarm company who monitors the campus indicated they could hear voices from inside a school building.

Arriving officers located four individuals in a wooded area on campus. During the investigation they were able to determine these subjects had broken a window to gain access into the area where the student store is located. The suspects stole nearly $400 worth of food items, clothing and a camera.

Arrested were an 18 year old Puyallup male and an 18 year old Tulalip male; both were booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of second-degree burglary. Also arrested was a 15 year old Marysville boy who was booked for investigation of second-degree burglary into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center. The fourth subject was the 9 year old brother of the 15 year old. He was released to the custody of his mother who had been called to the scene.
