[ARCHIVED] Police investigate car-motorcycle collision

On February 18, 2017 @ approximately 8:50 pm, Marysville police officers responded to a vehicle collision involving a car and off-road style motorcycle. Vehicle #2 (car) was turning north onto 74th Drive from 88th Street when it collided with a motorcycle. Although the investigation is preliminary, it appears the motorcycle was traveling the wrong direction in the lane of the northbound car.

The driver of the car is a 57-year-old Marysville resident and the driver of the motorcycle is a 24-year-old Arlington resident. The driver of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was transported via ambulance to Colby Campus. It is unknown at this time whether alcohol and/or drugs are involved.

The Marysville Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) will be conducting this investigation.
