[ARCHIVED] CERT refresher classes offered this fall in Marysville

The City of Marysville and Marysville Fire District are offering free Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) refresher classes this fall. 


Saturday,Oct. 14, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Fire Station #62 (Shoultes)

Light Search & Rescue Operations, CERT Organization

*Emergency backpack with personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for this course


Saturday, Nov. 4, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.,Fire Station #66 (Sunnyside)

Disaster Medical Operations, First Aid & CPR 


To be eligible to attend either of these classes, you must:
- live or work in the City of Marysville,
- have completed CERT training within the last five years, and
- if you did not complete CERT training in the City of Marysville, provide a copy of your certificate. 

Applications are available online at http://www.marysvillewa.gov/758/CERT. Class size is limited. For more information, contact the City of Marysville Emergency Management at 360-363-8096 or email drose@marysvillewa.gov

 CERT is a nationally recognized program offering a variety of disaster planning, recovery and survival skills aimed to assist communities in preparing for disaster response and recovery.
