Audition for Marysville Talent Show

Audition Registration - $20
Do you have a hidden talent that you want to showcase? Are you ready to take the stage and entertain the audience and perhaps even win a cash prize as the top performer? If yes, then this is the perfect opportunity for you! Tr-out Thursday, March 5 and be one of the top 15 that gets selected for the live show on Friday, March 27.
AUDITION: To be considered you must pre-register and show up for the try outs which begin at 4:00pm and will be a rolling start. A sign-up sheet will be available upon check in to select your desired order in the lineup.
REQUIREMENTS BY YOU: Performers must provide a stage hand/s to help set up and take down any necessary equipment including amplifiers for your instruments. Performers must provide all of their own sound engineers if or equipment if needed. Performance may not last longer than 5 minutes.
PROVIDED TO YOU: A source to plug your phone in for audio or your music. (1/8" auxiliary cord that is adaptable to iPhones). A handheld wireless microphone and/or a wired microphone
ACCEPTANCE TO THE LIVE SHOW: You will be notified by March 6th via email. Marysville's Talent Show is on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the Marysville Opera House. The event will start at 7:00 p.m. and includes a variety of acts from singing, dancing, comedy, and more. A $1000 top cash prize will be given to the first-place winner selected by the judges. (Donated by Abbey Van Dam Carpet and More). Awards given to second, third, and fan favorite.

Sound Check and Practice:
- Sound check is available on Thursday, March 5th. Doors open at 2pm for practice.
- Can't make it to sound check? The Opera House hosts Open Houses from 6-8pm on the first and third Wednesday of each month. These are for viewing the stage and venue only - no sound support is provided.
Audition Guidelines:
- No audience, friends, or family are permitted during try-outs.
- A +1 person is allowed only for essential stage support.
- Try-out slots begin at 4pm and run through after-work hours. Please arrive by 6pm at the latest.
- Your try-out does not need to exactly match your final performance. Just be performance-ready.
Selection and Performance Tips:
- Judges are tasked to select 15 performers, so bring something unique and exciting to the stage.
- Selections are based on your talent and creating an entertaining live show.
- Have fun!
(Note: This is a family friendly event. No weapons of any kind allowed, no profanity, flames, fog machines, smoke, CO2, glitter, confetti, rice, marshmallows, or helium balloons allowed.)
