Cleaning events

Tackle those spring cleaning tasks with the help of our clean-up events. The city is hosting two different events for free to residents of Marysville. The locations and details have changed from previous years, so review the list below and mark your calendar!

*Proof of Marysville residency required. City utility bill or driver's license will be accepted* 

Cedarcrest Middle School- 6400 88th St. NE

Accepted items:

  • Garbage (must be bagged)
    • Old Furniture
    • Mattresses
  • Scrap metal
  • Tires (limit 4)
  • Appliances- washers, dryers, stoves & hot water tanks

  • Green yard waste
  • Clean Styrofoam and bubblewrap
  • Documents for shredding (limit 4 boxes)
  • Electronics & E-waste
    • computers & laptops
    • TVs & monitors (LCD, plasma, CRT)
    • Cellphones, tablets, e-readers
    • Printers, fax machines, scanners
    • AV equipment, UPS battery backups
    • Remote controls
    • Microwaves, small kitchen appliances
    • lithium & household batteries
  • Free compost available for pick-up will be offered at this event. 
  • Freon Units- refrigerators, AC units, water coolers
  • Light bulbs including LED and incandescent light bulbs, fluorescent tubes and compact bulbs
  • Hazardous waste, paint, fuels, oils and household chemicals
  • Prescription drugs
  • Concrete
