About Community Development
The City of Marysville Community Development Department acts as technical staff advisers to the planning commission, hearing examiner, City Council and the public on planning and building questions.
We aim to provide consistency and predictability of land development from the initial planning stages, all the way to the final approval.
Our goal is to create a vibrant Marysville by promoting economic growth and healthy neighborhoods while protecting our natural environment and complying with the Growth Management Act of 1990.
