Parks Advisory Board Agenda and Minutes

About  

The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board acts in an advisory capacity to the Parks, Culture and Recreation director and to the City Council. The board performs a range of functions, including:

  • Acquisition or disposal of parks and recreation real property or facilities
  • Adoption of operating rules and regulations relating to parks and recreation properties and facilities
  • Capital improvements to parks and recreation properties and facilities
  • Long-range planning for parks and recreation facilities and programs
  • Supports interlocal cooperation with parks and recreation programs in other jurisdictions
